Air Commodore Vinay Pratap Singh Takes Over as Secretary of Kendriya Sainik Board
Air Commodore Vinay Pratap Singh, VM, from the Flying (Pilot) branch of the Indian Air Force, has taken on the role of Secretary at the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) as of July 1, 2026.
Upon assuming this significant position, Air Commodore Singh emphasized his dedication to enhancing the welfare and support systems for India's ex-servicemen, veterans, Veer Naris, and their dependents. He pledged to tirelessly advocate for those who have proudly and valiantly served the nation.
The Kendriya Sainik Board, operating under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare in the Ministry of Defence, is instrumental in developing and executing policies for the rehabilitation, resettlement, and welfare of ex-servicemen and their families throughout the country.
With Air Commodore Vinay Pratap Singh's appointment, the Board anticipates a bolstered focus on welfare initiatives, ensuring ongoing support for the armed forces community and maintaining the nation's steadfast commitment to those who have worn the uniform.
