Air Commodore Kamal Chadha Takes Over as Deputy Director General of NCC Directorate in Karnataka and Goa

On May 18, 2026, Air Commodore Kamal Chadha officially took over as the Deputy Director General (DDG) of the NCC Directorate Karnataka and Goa in a ceremony held at the Directorate Headquarters in Bengaluru.

Before this new role, Air Commodore Chadha held the position of Air Officer Commanding for the Air Force Component at Headquarters Andaman and Nicobar Command located in Port Blair.

A seasoned officer of the Indian Air Force, Air Commodore Chadha has an impressive record of operational and leadership duties, having served in numerous significant positions throughout his esteemed military career.

Upon assuming his new responsibilities, the officer commended the NCC Directorate Karnataka and Goa for its consistently high achievements and its significant role in fostering youth development and contributing to nation-building.

The Directorate has recently marked significant accomplishments at national competitions, notably the Republic Day Camp (RDC) and various All India Centrally Organised Camps.

This appointment is anticipated to enhance the Directorate’s dedication to leadership training, discipline, and the comprehensive development of cadets throughout Karnataka and Goa.
