Air Commodore Chandra Kumar Rasyara Assumes Leadership of Air Force Station Manauri

Air Commodore Chandra Kumar Rasyara has officially taken command of Air Force Station Manauri, stepping into the role of Air Officer Commanding. He succeeds Air Commodore Angshuk Pal, marking a notable change in leadership at a prominent logistics hub of the Indian Air Force.

Located near Prayagraj, Air Force Station Manauri serves as a leading supply chain depot with origins tracing back to the 1870s. The station plays a critical role in providing logistics and maintenance support essential for Indian Air Force operations in central and surrounding regions.

Having been commissioned into the logistics branch of the Indian Air Force in December 1991, Air Commodore Rasyara brings extensive expertise accumulated over 33 years. He holds a postgraduate diploma in financial management and a Master of Science in defence and strategic studies. His career has spanned various command and staff positions, including roles at operational units, Base Repair Depots, and significant positions at Air Headquarters as well as Command Headquarters. He has also led a supply chain echelon in the eastern sector, enhancing his reputation as an accomplished logistics officer.

In conjunction with his appointment, Chandrakala Rasyara, his wife, has taken on the role of President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (Local), following Roma Sinha Pal. Known for her keen involvement in community welfare, Chandrakala Rasyara is anticipated to actively support welfare initiatives for air force personnel and their families.

Air Commodore Rasyara, also an avid reader and poet, is held in high regard for his intellectual prowess and people-focused leadership style. His leadership is expected to bring renewed energy to both the operational and welfare functions at Air Force Station Manauri.
