Air Chief Marshal AP Singh Assesses Central Air Command's Readiness and Strategic Initiatives
Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, the Chief of the Air Staff, led the Central Air Command (CAC) Commanders’ Conference, which took place from January 19 to 20, 2026. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of CAC.
The conference officially began with the Chief of the Air Staff paying tribute at the CAC War Memorial, followed by a Ceremonial Guard of Honour.

During the conference, a thorough review of CAC’s operational readiness was conducted. The Chief of the Air Staff praised TEAM CAC for their outstanding professionalism, evidenced by their performance in Operation Sindoor, major air exercises, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief missions, and unwavering support to civil authorities.

In his address to the personnel and civilians of HQ CAC and AF Station Bamrauli, Air Chief Marshal Singh highlighted the necessity of maintaining high operational readiness, engaging in realistic and rigorous training, ensuring aerospace safety, and upholding robust physical and cyber security. He emphasized the significance of self-discipline and encouraged a balanced work environment focusing on work-life balance.

The Chief of the Air Staff urged commanders to lead by example, advocating for innovation, optimal use of resources, and enhanced collaboration to maintain the Indian Air Force as an agile and future-ready aerospace power. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Indian Air Force to remain a decisive and formidable force, prepared to face emerging operational challenges.
