Agniveers and Territorial Army Recruits Celebrate Successful Passing Out at Assam Regimental Centre, Shillong
The Assam Regimental Centre in Shillong recently held an impressive Attestation and Passing Out Parade for a group of 726 Agniveers and Territorial Army recruits, signifying the successful conclusion of their military training and their induction into active service.
The ceremony was overseen by Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh, Retired, who currently serves as the Governor of Uttarakhand. Lieutenant General Mohit Wadhwa, the General Officer Commanding of the 101 Area, was also in attendance.

The event demonstrated the discipline, professionalism, and military skills that the recruits developed throughout their extensive training. These new soldiers are now equipped and ready to serve the nation with confidence.
In his address to the recruits, the reviewing officer extended his congratulations on their successful training completion. He urged them to maintain the Indian Army's esteemed traditions, values, and ethos as they progress in their careers.

Officials highlighted that the batch was a representation of India's rich diversity, uniting recruits from various regions, religions, languages, and cultural backgrounds in the shared mission of serving the nation.
The Eastern Command conveyed its best wishes to the new soldiers, expressing confidence in their ability to serve the country with honour, courage, and dedication.

This Passing Out Parade signifies the start of a new journey for the Agniveers and Territorial Army recruits as they commence their service to the nation.
