Agniveer Recruits Undergo Intensive Training at 11 Gorkha Rifles Centre

A group of more than 600 Agniveers, selected to join the Territorial Army and Assam Rifles, is currently engaged in intensive training at the esteemed 11 Gorkha Rifles Regimental Centre located in Lucknow.

This training regimen is crafted to instill discipline and valor, with the goal of transforming young civilians into soldiers who are physically robust, mentally strong, and dedicated to the motto of ‘Service Before Self’. The Agniveers are being trained intensively in various areas, including obstacle courses, bayonet drills, firing ranges, and tactical maneuvers, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by the Indian Armed Forces.
