In a dignified military ceremony, the 58 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) in Shillong, operating under the Eastern Command, held the Kasam Samaroh for the 8th Batch of Agniveers, symbolizing a key moment in the careers of these young recruits.

Brigadier Joe Sabby, Commandant of the 58 Gorkha Training Centre, oversaw the parade, inspecting the troops and congratulating the Agniveers on completing their training and officially joining the Indian Army.

The ceremony saw 179 Agniveers take a solemn oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India, marking their formal induction into the military. This event underscored the Indian Army’s core values: discipline, patriotism, and commitment.
