262 Young Soldiers from Jammu & Kashmir Officially Inducted into JAK LI Regiment at Dansal

A significant event unfolded in Dansal as 262 boys from Jammu & Kashmir were officially welcomed into the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) Regiment. The passing-out parade was a display of discipline, precision, and immense pride.

The parade was overseen by Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra, the General Officer Commanding of White Knight Corps. He commended the recruits for their dedication, the rigorous training they underwent, and their impeccable drills. He emphasized their commitment to national security and the importance of joining one of the Army’s most revered regiments.

In keeping with tradition, the families of the new soldiers were presented with the Gaurav Padak, acknowledging their support and contribution to the country's safety. This moment held deep significance for the parents and guardians as they watched their sons become soldiers ready to protect the nation.

The event marked not only the culmination of training but also the start of a noble journey of honour, duty, and service. It highlighted the determination of Jammu & Kashmir’s youth to serve in the Indian defence forces.
