1,107 Agniveers Formally Inducted into Indian Army at Guards Regimental Centre Ceremony
In a ceremonial Attestation Parade on 20 June 2026, 1,107 Guards Agniveers of Batch-08 were formally inducted into the Indian Army at the Guards Regimental Centre in Kamptee.
The event marked the conclusion of an intensive training regimen for the recruits, who are now prepared to assume their roles within the army after completing the demanding program designed to ready them for military service.

Major General Navtej S. Sohal, SM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding at the Headquarters of the Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat Sub Area, presided over the parade. He conducted an inspection and offered his congratulations to the Agniveers on reaching this pivotal point in their military careers.
The parade was a demonstration of high-caliber training, showcasing the recruits' discipline, precision, and adherence to military drills. The display underscored their military deportment and the values imparted during their training at the Guards Regimental Centre.
