The Indian Army has announced the Women Military Police (WMP) Recruitment 2025-2026 under the Agnipath Scheme, inviting online applications from eligible female candidates across all 12 Army Recruiting Zones (ZROs) and IRO Delhi. Agniveer GD (Women) – Overview
Selected candidates will serve for four years as Agniveers. Post this period, 25% of Agniveers may be absorbed into the regular cadre of the Indian Army as per organizational needs and policies.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum: 17½ years
- Maximum: 21 years (as on 01 Oct 2025)
- Date of birth should be between 01 Oct 2004 and 01 Apr 2008
- Widows of Defence Personnel (died in harness) – upper age limit relaxable up to 30 years
Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass (Matriculation) with 45% aggregate marks and minimum 33% in each subject
- Grading system: Minimum D Grade in subjects and C2 Grade overall
- Candidates with LMV Driving License may be preferred
- For Indian Gorkhas: Class 10th simple pass
Selection Process
Phase 1: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
- Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (MCQs)
- Duration: 1 Hour | Questions: 50 | Total Marks: 100
- Negative Marking: 0.5 marks for each wrong answer

Phase 2: Recruitment Rally
Shortlisted candidates from Phase 1 will be called for Rally, which includes:

- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

- Medical Examination
Bonus Marks in CEE
Bonus marks in the online written test are awarded to eligible candidates, including daughters of servicemen/ex-servicemen, war widows, sportswomen, and NCC certificate holders.
Examples:
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate + Republic Day Parade – 25 Marks
- Represented India in Sports – 20 Marks
- Daughter of Ex-Servicemen – 20 Marks
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 Km Run:
- Group 1 (≤ 7 min 30 sec) – 60 Marks
- Group 2 (≤ 8 min) – 48 Marks
- Long Jump: 10 Feet (Qualifying)
- High Jump: 3 Feet (Qualifying)
Hill Area Relaxation:
- 5000-9000 ft: +30 seconds
- 9000-12000 ft: +120 seconds
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Height: Minimum 162 cm
- Relaxation of 4 cm for North East, Gorkhas, Tribals, etc.
- Weight: Proportionate to height & age
- Chest: 5 cm expansion

- Widows: Height – 2 cm | Weight – 2 kg
- Sportswomen: Height – 2 cm | Weight – 5 kg
Adaptability Test
Evaluates the candidate’s ability to adapt to military life and Army culture. Use of smartphones is allowed during this test.
Medical Examination
Candidates must be:
- Mentally and physically fit
- Not pregnant at the time of exam
- Free from body deformities, flat foot, poor vision, or permanent tattoos (allowed only on inner forearms or back of the palm)
