Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla Inspects Hyderabad Naval Units, Highlights Indigenous Development Initiatives
Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command, recently visited the Directorate of Marine Design Engineering and the Controller of Naval Armament (Depot Production) in Hyderabad. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate current efforts to enhance indigenous capabilities and improve operational readiness.
During his visit, the Vice Admiral praised the innovative initiatives undertaken by these establishments in the indigenisation of naval equipment and armaments. He lauded their collaboration with industry partners, which is crucial in advancing indigenous technologies and building capabilities, reinforcing the Indian Navy's dedication to Aatmanirbhar Bharat and self-reliance in defense manufacturing.
