Tie-Principles

In cases where candidates achieved identical total marks, the following tie-breaking principles were applied:

(i) Candidates with the same final marks were ranked based on higher scores in the written examination.
(ii) If the written scores were also tied, the candidate with higher scores in Paper-II (General Ability Test) was ranked higher.
(iii) If both (i) and (ii) scores were the same, the older candidate was placed higher in the ranking.

These criteria reflect the stringent standards and transparent selection process maintained by the commission to ensure the best candidates are chosen for the defense services.
