A significant part of his career was his appointment as Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Governor of Mizoram from 1982 to 1987, which underscored his professionalism and reliability.

Very sad to know the demise of Sh BN Sharma sir. I met him during my Junior Command Course in the year 2011 in BSF Academy where he was posted as Dy Director and Senior Instructor. He was fully dedicated for the force and its personal well being. May his soul rest in peace
