An uplifting story from Indore is gaining widespread attention across India, as a 79-year-old woman, who retired from the Indian Army as an administrative officer, has become an inspiration by setting up her own food stall. Her actions have highlighted her resilience, independence, and zest for life.
The narrative emerged when food vlogger Kashish Soni posted a video on Instagram, capturing the elderly woman managing her food stall single-handedly. The stall, which serves popular Indian street foods such as idli and chole bhature, has become a viral sensation, garnering over 3 million views. The video has sparked widespread admiration for her determination and spirit.
In the video, the former officer explains that after concluding her military career, she decided to pursue her long-held passion for cooking. Having chosen never to marry, she states, "Main apne shaukh nahi poore kar paaungi. Aaj bhi mujhe sab cheez ka shaukh hai," indicating her commitment to living life according to her own interests. She also shares that she studied fine arts in Mumbai, where she completed a degree in the field.

Fake news. This is not true. There is no way that she can be an army officer. Anyone who is from defence or have a little idea about defence would be able to tell that this is fake.
This seems to be a fraud news because it says this lady was an Administrative officer in the Army! Till the year 1990 or so, the ladies in the Armed Forces of Bharat were from the Medical Branches alone. Any lady who joined in the other branches, would be at the most aged 55 years as of now.
