Officer Cadets of 2026 Ready for Commissioning into the Regiment of Artillery
In a ceremony rich with military tradition and regimental pride, officer cadets from the 158th Regular Course, 141st Technical Graduate Course (TGC), 56th Special Commissioned Officers (SCO) Course, and 47th Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course were formally adorned with their ceremonial regalia in preparation for their commissioning into the Regiment of Artillery on June 13, 2026.
This event marked the cadets' transition into the esteemed ranks of the Regiment of Artillery, a division known for its critical role on the battlefield and often referred to as the "God of War."

The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General V K Ahluwalia (Retd), PVSM, AVSM, YSM, VSM, who addressed the aspiring officers with words of encouragement, motivating them to maintain the highest standards of military leadership and to lead with distinction as they embark on their careers in the artillery.
Major General Rajesh Srivastava, SM, VSM, ADG Administration and Coordination, also addressed the cadets, urging them to embrace the ethos of the Regiment of Artillery and prepare themselves to excel in their roles as future leaders of the Army's decisive arm.

The ceremony was attended by veteran officers from the artillery, who offered their blessings and words of wisdom to the soon-to-be commissioned officers. Their presence highlighted the enduring traditions of the Regiment and the deep connections between generations of artillery personnel.
The accoutrement ceremony represents a significant milestone for cadets on their path to commissioning from the Indian Military Academy. It symbolizes their official induction into their chosen military branch and reinforces their sense of duty, honor, and commitment to service.

As the cadets prepare for the IMA Passing Out Parade scheduled for June 13, they are poised to join the Regiment of Artillery, continuing its proud tradition of courage, professionalism, and excellence on the battlefield.
The ceremony concluded with well-wishes for the future officers as they set out to serve the nation and protect India's sovereignty.
