Naval War College Officers Conduct Strategic Visit to Trishakti Corps for Enhanced Operational Insights
Officers from the Naval Higher Command Course at the Naval War College recently participated in the Forward Area Orientation Tour by visiting the Trishakti Corps. The objective was to acquire a comprehensive understanding of operational dynamics and the coordination between services in India's eastern theatre.
Throughout their visit, the officers received detailed briefings at the Corps Headquarters in Sukna. These briefings covered vital topics such as operational preparedness, the challenges posed by the terrain, and the importance of tri-service synergy for securing India's borders, particularly in the critical Sikkim sector.
The delegation proceeded to inspect forward areas in Sikkim, where they were informed about the distinct operational environment. Discussions included infrastructure development and the various strategies implemented to ensure combat readiness in the challenging high-altitude conditions.
This visit was instrumental in strengthening joint understanding, strategic awareness, and inter-service cooperation between the Indian Army and the Indian Navy.
