Naik Bharat Singh Named Top Graduate at NCO Academy's Combat Leadership Course

The Combat Leadership Course at the NCO Academy came to a conclusion on March 28, 2026, marking the end of an intensive training program aimed at Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs).

This specialized course was crafted to provide NCOs with modern operational knowledge and combat leadership skills suited to a technology-driven battlefield. Participants received rigorous training to improve their decision-making abilities, tactical awareness, and adaptability in contemporary warfare scenarios.

Brigadier Lalit Sharma, awarded with the Shaurya Chakra and Sena Medal, and Commandant of the academy, addressed the participants. He shared important insights concerning the “Decade of Transformation” and the changing geopolitical landscape that influences future conflicts.

During the course's conclusion, Naik Bharat Singh of the Rajput Regiment received the Army Commander Army Training Command Trophy, recognizing him as the overall Best Student.

In addition, the first “Best Techno Warrior” Trophy was awarded to Naik Narinder Singh from the Regiment of Artillery for his outstanding ability to utilize technology in combat situations.

The course signifies the Indian Army's commitment to empowering its NCOs with advanced skills and leadership qualities, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of future warfare.
