Meet Major General Lisamma PV New Additional Director General of Military Nursing Service

In a significant development for the Indian Armed Forces, Maj Gen Lisamma PV today assumed the prestigious appointment of Additional Director General (ADG), Military Nursing Service (MNS) in New Delhi. She takes over from Maj Gen Sheena PD, who retired on April 30, 2025, after an illustrious service of four decades.
Hailing from Kollam district in Kerala, Maj Gen Lisamma PV is an alumna of the School of Nursing, Military Hospital, Jalandhar, and was commissioned into the MNS in 1986. Over the years, she has built an exemplary career combining both clinical excellence and administrative leadership.
