Maj Gen Amaresh Gunjan Launches TORQUE UAS Training Facility, Evaluates Combat Preparedness of Golden Key Division

Major General Amaresh Gunjan, SM, VSM, who commands the Golden Key Division, recently assessed the division's artillery units' operational and combat readiness. His visit primarily focused on evaluating future warfare capabilities and technological advancements.

In the course of his visit, Maj Gen Gunjan inaugurated TORQUE, an advanced Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Training Node. This facility is aimed at boosting the Indian Army's proficiency in drone operations, surveillance, reconnaissance, and emerging battlefield technologies.

The newly launched facility is designed to prepare soldiers for the changing nature of warfare, where the use of unmanned systems, precise targeting, and real-time intelligence is increasingly crucial for achieving operational success.

The General Officer also observed innovative displays and demonstrations, showcasing the use of advanced technologies to enhance battlefield awareness, operational performance, and combat readiness.
