Lt General Dhiraj Seth Launches 'Wheels of Valour' Motorcycle Expedition from Pune

On October 4, 2025, Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, officially commenced the Motorcycle Expedition ‘Wheels of Valour’ at the Southern Command War Memorial in Pune.
The expedition is made up of a team of 14 motorcyclists who are set to travel around 2400 km, traversing seven cities within the Southern Command's domain. This journey is in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of the 1965 Indo-Pak War and the 79th Raising Day of the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE). The segment from Pune to Belgaum was ceremonially initiated by the Army Commander during the event.

The ‘Wheels of Valour’ expedition serves as a homage to the unparalleled bravery, courage, and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. It is intended to foster a deep sense of pride, discipline, and camaraderie among participants, while also inspiring younger generations to adopt the virtues of service and patriotism.
