Lt Gen Rajiv Kumar Sahni Reviews Drone Fabrication Facilities, Commends Innovation at Vajra Corps
Lieutenant General Rajiv Kumar Sahni, the Director General of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (DGEME) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of EME, paid a visit to the Vajra Corps. During his visit, he engaged with soldier-technicians and assessed the latest advancements in capability development.

Lt Gen Sahni took the opportunity to inspect the Mass Drone and Fixed-Wing Fabrication Facilities. He praised the Corps' "techno warriors" for their dedication to precision, professionalism, and innovation focused on mission success. He noted the role of soldier-engineers in accelerating indigenous development by transforming frontline operational requirements into practical combat capabilities.

The Director General also made a visit to the Army Hockey Node, where he recognized the Corps' efforts to foster sporting excellence alongside their technical achievements.

Lt Gen Sahni commended the formation for its steadfast dedication to boosting operational readiness and fortifying field formations through self-sufficient, technology-driven solutions. This approach aligns with the Indian Army's broader initiative to promote indigenous innovation and develop capabilities that are prepared for future challenges.
