Lt Gen R.C. Tiwari Praises Brahmastra Corps for Rapid Operationalisation of Chopra Defence Base
Lt Gen R.C. Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, recently visited the Brahmastra Corps stationed at the newly established Chopra Defence Land. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the troops' operational readiness and the progress of infrastructure development.
During his engagement with the troops, Lt Gen Tiwari commended their unwavering zeal and professionalism. He applauded their efforts in swiftly establishing and making the new defence base operational, despite facing logistical and environmental challenges. He highlighted these accomplishments as a testament to the Indian Army's adaptability and commitment to national defence.

The Army Commander urged all personnel to uphold the highest standards of operational readiness. He stressed the importance of being proactive in confronting evolving security threats along the eastern border, emphasizing that maintaining preparedness amid changing geopolitical dynamics is crucial for protecting India's strategic interests.

During his visit, Lt Gen Tiwari also engaged with Shri Hamidul Rahaman, MLA of Chopra Constituency, along with other civil dignitaries. This interaction underscored the importance of collaboration between the military and civil entities in bolstering security and regional development. He expressed gratitude for the local administration's support in advancing the Army's projects in the area.

The initiation of the Chopra Defence Base marks a significant advancement in strengthening India's defence capabilities in the eastern region, enhancing logistics, troop mobility, and regional coordination.
