Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Evaluates Security and Launches Key Infrastructure Projects in Ladakh

Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, conducted a visit to the forward areas of Ladakh to evaluate the security conditions and the progress of ongoing development projects in the region.

Throughout his visit, the Army Commander carried out a comprehensive assessment of the security environment in the forward areas. He reviewed the progress of ongoing infrastructure and development initiatives, and he also examined the operational preparedness of the forces in the challenging high-altitude terrain.

In addition to his evaluations, Lt Gen Sharma inaugurated several infrastructure projects. These initiatives are designed to bolster troop sustainment, improve mobility in remote regions, and enhance operational logistics.

During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma commended the Indian Army personnel for their high morale, professionalism even in extreme conditions, and their unwavering dedication to duty.

The Army Commander also expressed his appreciation for Indian Oil Corporation Limited. He acknowledged their ongoing support in logistics and fuel supply, which plays a crucial role in sustaining operations in the challenging terrain.
