Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Assesses LoC Troop Readiness, Praises High Morale and Professionalism
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, conducted a visit to forward areas along the Line of Control as well as in the hinterland, assessing the operational preparedness of the troops stationed there.

During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma received briefings on the prevailing security situation and the effectiveness of ongoing counter-infiltration initiatives. He also evaluated the readiness of the formations to tackle any emerging challenges. The general commended the troops for their unwavering commitment, remarkable professionalism, and high morale while operating under challenging conditions.

The Army Commander expressed his confidence in the operational capabilities of the Northern Command. He praised the continued cooperation between the Army, security forces, and local administration, which has been crucial in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

Lt Gen Pratik Sharma’s visit underscored the Indian Army's resolve to sustain a high level of operational readiness and adhere to the principle of being "Forever in Operations".
