Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Evaluates Security Measures and Preparedness in Kishtwar

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, conducted a visit to the Kishtwar area in Jammu & Kashmir. He was accompanied by the GOC of CIF (Delta) to evaluate the Counter-Terrorism Grid and assess the operational readiness of the units stationed in the region.

During his visit, the Army Commander received a briefing on the current security landscape and the strategies being employed to counter terrorism. Initiatives aimed at enhancing the security framework were also discussed, with particular focus on improving inter-agency coordination and establishing a responsive security system to counter potential threats.

Lieutenant General Mishra engaged with commanders and troops at various levels to assess their preparedness and operational efficiency in the challenging terrain. He praised the personnel of CIF Delta for their vigilance and professionalism in maintaining peace and stability in the area.
