Lt Gen Kalia Assesses Operational Readiness of Assam Rifles in Tripura
Lieutenant General Girish Kalia, the General Officer Commanding of the Spear Corps, conducted a visit to an Assam Rifles formation in Agartala, Tripura. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the current internal security conditions and assess how well-prepared the troops stationed in the area are for operational duties.
During his stay, the Corps Commander received a detailed briefing on the security landscape, the operations in progress, and the steps being taken to uphold a high standard of combat readiness. The review aimed to ensure that the formation could effectively confront any emerging security threats and maintain stability in the region.
Lt Gen Kalia carefully examined the formation's operational capabilities and the strategies put in place to uphold vigilance and readiness, aligning with the objectives of internal security.
