Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Evaluates Training Standards at NCO Academy Dhana
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, who is the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, paid a visit to the Non Commissioned Officers Academy at Dhana to evaluate the standards of training and leadership development programs in place.

During his visit, the Commandant provided a briefing to the Army Commander about the Academy’s key program, the Combat Leadership Course. This course is tailored specifically for Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) across all Combat and Combat Support Arms within the Indian Army. It is designed to meet the challenges of modern warfare and changing battlefield scenarios, focusing on tactical skills, decision-making, and leadership under pressure.

Lt Gen Seth praised the Academy for upholding rigorous training standards and acknowledged the instructors for their crucial role in developing competent junior leaders who are prepared for the future.

In his discussions with the trainees, the Army Commander emphasized the critical role of technology-enhanced training in cultivating resilient, adaptable, and combat-ready soldiers. He pointed out that empowered NCOs, armed with contemporary skills and leadership expertise, are key to gaining the upper hand and controlling the future battlefield.
