Lt Gen Arvind Chauhan Assesses Readiness of Bison Division's Sudarshan Chakra Corps
Lieutenant General Arvind Chauhan, YSM, SM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps, conducted a visit to the Batticalao and Basantar Brigade of the Bison Division to assess their operational readiness.
During his visit, the GOC received briefings on critical operational and administrative factors, including various initiatives intended to improve preparedness and efficiency across different domains. He evaluated the strategies in place to maintain high levels of readiness in response to changing operational needs.

Lt Gen Chauhan also inspected the Integrated All Arms Training Arena, where he observed live manoeuvre training along with the formation's drone warfare capabilities, executed by an integrated force. The display highlighted effective coordination, technological integration, and combat readiness. Furthermore, he reviewed the operational capabilities of the Ashni Platoon, commending their dedication, specialized skills, and professionalism.

The Army Commander also evaluated ongoing initiatives for capability development, particularly focusing on drone and counter-drone systems, operational preparations, and crucial infrastructure projects that are key to future readiness.

Encouraging all ranks, Lt Gen Chauhan stressed the importance of rigorous and realistic training. He urged the formation to continue advancing towards becoming a modern, agile, and adaptive force that is well-prepared to face emerging battlefield challenges.
