Lt Gen Akaash Johar Interacts with Sainik School Nagrota Cadets at Yol Cantonment
Lieutenant General Akaash Johar, AVSM, the General Officer Commanding of Rising Star Corps, met cadets of Sainik School Nagrota during their visit to Yol Cantonment, giving the students a close look at the military environment and an opportunity to engage directly with senior Army नेतृत्व.
The interaction was designed to expose the cadets to the ethos of service that underpins military life. It also offered them first-hand insight into the values that shape Army leadership, including discipline, responsibility and commitment to the nation.
During the visit, Lt Gen Akaash Johar encouraged the cadets to build discipline, confidence and leadership qualities, while also developing a strong sense of responsibility towards the country. He urged them to pursue excellence not only in their academic work, but also in their physical and personal development.
The cadets took part in a range of activities as part of the visit, which created space for learning, interaction and camaraderie. These engagements gave them direct exposure to military life and helped reinforce their understanding of teamwork, leadership and discipline.
Lt Gen Akaash Johar also shared perspectives with the young cadets, asking them to remain focused on their goals and to uphold the values of integrity, dedication and service. The visit reflected the Indian Army’s continuing engagement with Sainik Schools, institutions that are closely associated with preparing young students for lives of discipline, leadership and national service.
