Smt Maya Devi was the mother of Naib Subedar Tilak Raj of the Dogra Regiment and Havildar Jagdev Singh of the Punjab Regiment. She suffered a severe brain stroke and, despite extensive medical efforts at the Command Hospital, could not be revived, leading to her being declared brain-dead.
