Indian Army Releases SSCW(Tech)-67 Women Merit List 2026, 29 Candidates Recommended

The Indian Army has published the merit list for the SSCW(Tech)-67th (Women) October 2026 Course, naming candidates recommended from five engineering streams under the Short Service Commission (Technical) entry for women. The list covers Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical disciplines.

The Army has made it clear that the issue of Joining Letters will depend strictly on merit and will remain subject to several conditions, including the availability of vacancies, medical fitness, submission of required documents and fulfilment of all eligibility criteria laid down in the course notification.

It has also clarified that a candidate’s inclusion in the merit list does not automatically guarantee a Joining Letter. Candidates whose names have been listed must ensure that copies of all semester marksheets, degree certificates or provisional degree certificates, along with other required documents, have been submitted as part of the process.

According to the merit list, neither documentation status nor the results of medical examinations were taken into account while preparing the ranking. The Army has advised candidates who have not yet submitted the necessary documents to upload self-attested scanned copies through the Feedback/Query option on the official Join Indian Army website.

Stream-wise vacancies and candidates in the merit list

In the Civil engineering stream, seven vacancies have been notified, while four candidates have appeared in the merit list. They are Arushi, roll number 751694; Shatakshi Rai, roll number 754646; Prajjalita Boruah, roll number 753160; and Kanishka, roll number 753112.

For Computer Science, the Army has listed four vacancies and five candidates in merit order. The candidates named are Pooja P, roll number 751787; Shruti Sharma, roll number 755323; Vedika K N, roll number 752754; Arjita, roll number 753335; and Sakshi Goyal, roll number 750267.

In the Electrical engineering category, three vacancies have been listed, with five candidates featuring in the merit list. These are Arya Ashok, roll number 750253; Rhythm Pathania, roll number 751316; Sruthi R, roll number 751761; Prathvi Devanand Gaonkar, roll number 755691; and Renu, roll number 754270.

Those named are Priti Yadav, roll number 751141; Aayushi Sharma, roll number 750012; Janani S, roll number 756012; Dimple, roll number 750260; Shiwani Ojha, roll number 756911; and Kushboo Choudhary G, roll number 753550.

In Mechanical engineering, nine vacancies have been listed and seven candidates have been included in the merit list. They are Vanshika Chauhan, roll number 750750; Samradhee Pawan Parashar, roll number 751596; Trivedi Shiva, roll number 750162; Sakshi Hazari, roll number 757316; Hritika Jagdish Tahalyani, roll number 753558; Vishu Sharma, roll number 752393; and Rashmi Sisodia, roll number 752095.

The release reflects the Army’s continuing recruitment of women engineering graduates through the Short Service Commission (Technical) route. Candidates recommended in the merit list will move forward towards commissioning only if they satisfy all prescribed conditions, particularly those related to vacancies, medical fitness and completion of documentation.

The Army has again stressed that candidates must not treat the merit list as the final stage of selection. Those whose names have appeared in the list have been advised to complete any pending academic and related documentation without delay, as the final issue of Joining Letters will depend on compliance with the full admission process.
