Indian Army Announces TES 54 SSB Interview Dates: Selection Process Details Revealed

 

The Indian Army has released the dates for the TES 54 SSB Interview in connection with the TES-54 Course. Candidates can access the SSB date selection link for the TES 54 course from June 27, 2025, until July 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

Shortlisted candidates will receive notifications via email and SMS, along with their TES 54 call letters. Eligible applicants are advised to visit the official Indian Army website to view available slots and select their preferred date for the SSB interview.

According to the TES 54 cutoff marks published by the Indian Army, candidates who have achieved a cumulative score of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and who hold a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 1,75,000 are eligible to participate in the SSB interview.

The interviews are scheduled to take place in several locations, including Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bangalore, Bhopal, and Jalandhar.

The TES 54 candidates who have been shortlisted can now select their SSB Interview date through the provided link. The TES 54 SSB interviews will be conducted at Selection Center East Prayagraj, Selection Centre North Jalandhar, Selection Centre Central Bhopal, and Selection Centre South Bangalore.

Unmarried male candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with PCM subjects and meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply for the Permanent Commission in the Army.

Once selected, these candidates will undergo four years of Basic Military Training and Technical Training, subject to specific terms and conditions.

TES 54 Selection Procedure

Shortlisting of Applications The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications based on a predetermined cutoff percentage. Once candidates are shortlisted, they will be informed of their allocated Selection Centre online.
Selection Centre Allotment After being allotted a Selection Centre, candidates must log in to the website to choose their SSB dates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Eligibility for SSB Only those who meet the cutoff percentage will undergo SSB at designated centres in Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar, assessed by a Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer.
SSB Interview Call The call-up letter for the SSB interview will be sent via the candidate’s registered email ID and SMS. The Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army), will assign the Selection Centre, and no changes will be entertained.
Two-Stage Selection Procedure Candidates who pass Stage I will proceed to Stage II, while those who do not will return home on the same day. The SSB interview lasts five days, with detailed information available on the Directorate General of Recruiting's official website. A medical examination will follow for those recommended after Stage II.
Medical Examination Recommended candidates must agree to undergo a medical examination by a board of Male/Female doctors.
Final Selection Candidates deemed medically fit and recommended by the SSB will receive a joining letter for training, based on merit and available vacancies.
Bond Execution Selected candidates must execute all Bonds/Certificates as prescribed for NDA entry cadets under AI 53/78.
Final Selection Objection Candidates must agree to their final selection assignment, including any Arm/Service allocation, in the interest of the organization.
