Indian Army and DTU Sign MoU to Enhance Defence Innovation and Self-Reliance

The Indian Army and Delhi Technological University (DTU) have reached a significant agreement to bolster Atmanirbhar Bharat and enhance Military–Civil synergy through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement aims to promote research, innovation, and skill development in advanced technological fields.
The collaboration is set to enable joint research efforts and specialized academic programs for military personnel in areas such as Defence Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cyber Security, Geoinformatics, Data Analytics, and Soldier Upskilling.

The integration of the Army's operational experience with DTU's academic and technological prowess aims to create indigenous solutions that meet the nation’s defence requirements while fostering self-reliance through innovation.
Officials highlighted that this initiative aligns with the vision for a technologically advanced and future-ready Indian Army, capable of utilizing emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
