Indian Armed Forces Officers to Share Operation Sindoor Experience on KBC Independence Day Episode

The Independence Day episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati will spotlight three esteemed officers from the Indian Armed Forces: Colonel Sofiya Qureshi from the Indian Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh from the Indian Air Force, and Commander Prerna Deosthalee from the Indian Navy. These officers will share their insights and experiences from Operation Sindoor, a high-stakes counterterrorism mission.

A promo video has been released in which the show's host, Amitabh Bachchan, greets the officers as they take the hot seat. During this segment, Colonel Qureshi elaborated on the mission's background, stating, “Pakistan had been carrying out such acts repeatedly. A response was necessary, and that’s why Operation Sindoor was planned.”

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh recounted the mission's swift execution, highlighting that the operation was completed in only 25 minutes, from 1:05 AM to 1:30 AM. Meanwhile, Commander Prerna emphasized the meticulous planning that ensured the targets were neutralized without endangering civilian lives.

The promotional clip concluded with Colonel Qureshi's statement, “This is a new India with a new vision,” which was followed by the audience and Bachchan enthusiastically chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”

Operation Sindoor was initiated as a response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians in Jammu and Kashmir. Both Colonel Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika played pivotal roles in the mission and engaged with the media at the time. The special episode is set to air on August 15, infusing a sense of patriotism into the 17th season of KBC.
