India Launches Indrajaal Ranger: Nation's First Mobile AI-Driven Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle

Indrajaal Drone Defence has launched the 'Indrajaal Ranger', marking a significant advancement in India's border security. This new development introduces the country's first fully mobile, AI-enabled Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle (ADPV), designed to detect, track, and neutralize hostile drones while in motion.

The Ranger addresses the limitations of stationary anti-drone systems by offering real-time patrolling, autonomous threat assessment, and immediate interception capabilities. This technology is increasingly crucial amid the growing threats posed by cross-border drones.

The need for such innovation arises from a marked increase in drone-related smuggling activities, including those linked to ISI weapon drops and narcotics trafficking, estimated to be worth ₹3 lakh crore. Hundreds of Pakistani drones have been intercepted this year, underscoring the magnitude of the threat.

Kiran Raju, CEO and Founder of Indrajaal, described the ADPV as a mission-focused innovation. He stated, "Each drone neutralized translates to lives protected and India’s internal security strengthened. This is our primary mission—to defend freedom."

The ADPV offers dynamic coverage across various terrains such as border roads, canals, agricultural areas, urban environments, and critical infrastructure sites. This is facilitated by Indrajaal's SkyOS autonomy engine, a unified C5ISRT platform that integrates multi-sensor intelligence with real-time decision-making capabilities.

Lt Gen Devendra Pratap Pandey (Retd), PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, commended the technology, emphasizing its importance as a protective measure for frontline defenders and vulnerable border communities. He remarked, "Technologies like this are not just machines—they are shields protecting our children, our farmers, and our future."

The introduction of the Ranger is anticipated to significantly disrupt the logistical and financial networks of criminal and extremist organizations by targeting drone-based supply routes, thereby enhancing national security and community safety.

Indrajaal, having already demonstrated its capabilities with advanced counter-UAS systems, is now poised for broader deployment following ARDTC certification.
