Final Cut-Off Marks for CDS (II) 2024 Announced

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the cut-off marks for the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024. These results reveal the selection criteria for entry into India's premier defence academies, which include the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA) for both male and female candidates.

The published data indicates that the minimum qualifying mark for each subject is consistently set at 20% for all academies. For the IMA, the cut-off score for the written examination was 117 out of a possible 300, while the final aggregate score of the last candidate recommended was 241 out of 600.

For the INA, aspirants needed to score a minimum of 90 out of 300 in the written exam to qualify. The final recommendation cut-off for this academy was 220 out of 600.

The Air Force Academy (AFA) had the highest cut-off for the written exam, requiring candidates to achieve at least 126 out of 300. The AFA also had the highest final recommendation cut-off, with 248 out of 600.

For male candidates applying to OTA, the minimum requirement in the written test was 81 out of 200, and the final recommendation threshold was 161 out of 400. Likewise, female candidates for OTA needed to score at least 81 out of 200 in the written exam, with the final cut-off set at 166 out of 400.
