DGAFMS Arti Sarin Reviews Advanced Medical Capabilities at Command Hospital, Southern Command
Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), visited Command Hospital (Southern Command) on 10 August 2026 to assess the institution’s medical capabilities and review ongoing efforts aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery for Armed Forces personnel and their dependants.
She was accompanied by Major General S Radhakrishnan, Major General (Medical), Headquarters Southern Command. During the visit, Major General Sanil Mohan, Commandant, Command Hospital (Southern Command), briefed the senior medical leadership on the hospital’s functioning, its medical infrastructure and the healthcare capabilities available at the facility.
