On March 17, 2026, the Basic Cyber Security Course at the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) in Mhow came to an end, marking the successful completion by officers from various branches of the Indian Army and from Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs).

This intensive programme aimed to arm officers with crucial cyber security skills and technical acumen necessary for operations in the contemporary high-tech battlefield.

The valedictory event was overseen by Major General Gautam Mahajan, SM, who serves as the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor at MCTE. He lauded the graduating officers and bestowed awards upon those who excelled in the course.

Notably, Captain Suprateek Jha received recognition as the Best Student of the course, acknowledging his outstanding achievements.

This programme saw participation from officers representing Chad, Kazakhstan, Mozambique, Peru, and Egypt. This diverse involvement highlights the expanding scope of international military collaboration and training exchanges.
