Colonel Sunil Kumar Kashyap and Lance Havildar Ajay Cahaar Receive GOC-in-C Commendation at Southern Command Investiture Ceremony
NCC Gujarat celebrated a significant achievement as Colonel Sunil Kumar Kashyap and Lance Havildar Ajay Cahaar were awarded the esteemed “On-the-Spot” GOC-in-C Commendation Card. The accolade was presented during the Southern Command Investiture Ceremony, which took place in Ahmedabad on February 7, 2026.
The commendations were given in recognition of their outstanding service, professionalism, and unwavering dedication.
In addition to this, JUO Riya Rajput from the 3 Gujarat Battalion NCC was honored with a Merit Card by Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, providing further distinction to the Directorate.
