Chief of Integrated Defence Staff Conducts Operational Review in Eastern Sector
Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (CISC), conducted an operational assessment in the forward areas of the Eastern Sector on Sunday.
At Bagdogra Military Station, Air Marshal Dixit engaged with personnel from both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force. He received a detailed briefing on the current deployments and the state of readiness in this strategically critical area.
Air Marshal Dixit praised the troops for their high morale, professionalism, and commitment to duty in challenging terrain. He emphasized the significance of joint operations, stating that success hinges on the principle of “Victory Through Jointness” to achieve operational cohesion and mission accomplishment.
The visit highlighted the ongoing efforts by the Integrated Defence Staff to enhance service coordination to address the evolving security landscape in the Eastern Sector.
