Central Command Investiture Ceremony 2026 Recognizes Gallantry and Service in Indian Army
The Central Command Investiture Ceremony 2026 took place at Clement Town, celebrating the exceptional bravery, distinguished service, and steadfast dedication of Indian Army personnel and units.

Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Surya Command, bestowed honors upon courageous individuals, exemplary soldiers, and units. Their professionalism and commitment have made significant contributions to the nation and enhanced the operational ethos of the Army.

During the event, the Army Commander awarded 19 Surya Trophies to selected units and establishments for their excellence in providing medical care to both active soldiers and veterans. Additional accolades were given for achievements in Clean and Green initiatives, underscoring the Army's dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable management of military stations.

Lt Gen Sengupta praised the awardees for their outstanding achievements and encouraged all ranks to be inspired by their successes. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high morale and unwavering professional standards, thereby continuing the Central Command's tradition of excellence and national service.
