Assistant Commandant Sunil Kumar Receives Sword of Honour at BSF Passing Out Parade
At a recent Passing Out Parade ceremony, the Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Shri Praveen Kumar, IPS, bestowed significant honors including the prestigious Sword of Honour to the most exceptional officer of the batch, acknowledging outstanding merit and leadership among the newly commissioned officers.
The esteemed Sword of Honour was awarded to Shri Sunil Kumar, Assistant Commandant, who was recognized as the top officer of the batch. His achievement was based on superior performance in physical tests, written examinations, firing proficiency, and outdoor exercises. This accolade represents extraordinary dedication, discipline, and professional excellence, embodying the core values of the BSF.

In addition to the Sword of Honour, Shri Sunil Kumar also received the A S Aulakh Medal and Running Trophy, recognizing him as the All Round Best Trainee of the batch. His outstanding performance across all aspects of the training program established him as a model of excellence for his peers.
The Director’s Baton, awarded for exemplary command of the Passing Out Parade, was presented to Shri Dheeraj Singh Madnawat, Assistant Commandant. This honor acknowledged his exceptional leadership, precision in drill, and command presence during the ceremony, which marked the conclusion of the training program.
