Is the person exempt from toll or the vehicle is exempt ? Toll tax is levied on the vehicle.
All govt vehicles must be exempt which includes private vehicles on govt duty and private vehicles used by service personnel on official duty which includes proceeding on leave which is considered as duty. The AGs branch at Army Hq needs to get its act together and explain the nuances to the ministry.

You give previlege treatment to ambulance without checking whether there is really a patient inside or not , simply sounding a hooter brings you on your toes ,but for armed forces personal he should carry valid papers ,ID etc , similarly when any state officer is accompanied by police escort you again climb the Mount Everest without ascertaining where he is proceeding, whether to a religious place enroute or actually on duty, please correct your rules practically

The writer seems to be part of anti bharat group known as tukde tukde gang. Also ssbcrack giving platform to such negetivity writers and army haters needs to rethink. The writer does not know that what is duty and what is not. One instance is that even when a fauji ( not only officer as the writer has tried to spread hatred amongst officer and jawans) is on some leave, he is deemed to be on duty. The concession is not given to family if travelling alone. But alas fauji fight and give their life to hate spreaders like this writer and the platform giver. Shame on them.
