AMC Centre & College Enhances Military Medical Training with Third ATLS Course
The AMC Centre & College has achieved another milestone by successfully completing the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Course for the third time, enhancing the Armed Forces' capacity in managing battlefield and emergency trauma care.

In this latest session of the internationally acclaimed ATLS programme, 32 Medical Officers were trained in sophisticated trauma management techniques. This brings the total number of officers trained under the ATLS programme at the institution to over 96, reinforcing the Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College, as a reputable ATLS training facility.

According to officials, this accomplishment demonstrates a continuous dedication to excellence, standardisation, and preparedness in military medical training. The ATLS programme aims to equip medical officers with vital decision-making capabilities and evidence-based methods necessary for managing trauma situations in operational and high-risk scenarios.

The successful execution of the course highlights the Armed Forces Medical Services' commitment to enhancing operational medical readiness. It ensures that trained personnel are prepared to render timely, life-saving care during combat operations, disasters, and emergencies.
This initiative significantly contributes to bolstering the Armed Forces' overall medical capability, underscoring the importance of structured, world-class training in ensuring mission success and the survivability of soldiers.
