Air Marshal B Manikantan Conducts Operational Inspection at Agra Air Force Station

Air Marshal B Manikantan, serving as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, performed an Operational Readiness Inspection at the Air Force Station Agra over the course of December 22 and 23, 2025.

Upon his arrival, Air Marshal Manikantan received a ceremonial Guard of Honour. Throughout his visit, he evaluated the operational readiness of the station, scrutinized the infrastructure projects that were either underway or completed, and assessed the recent enhancements in capabilities at the base. He also engaged with senior personnel, acknowledging their professionalism and dedication to maintaining mission readiness.

Dr Nirmala T Manikantan, President of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFFWA) (Regional), accompanied the AOC-in-C. She examined the welfare initiatives implemented through AFFWA at the station. The group also visited Air Force School Agra, where they interacted with students and staff, expressing appreciation for the emphasis on education and comprehensive development.

At the conclusion of the inspection, Air Marshal Manikantan praised the base for its exemplary operational readiness and its steadfast commitment to operational excellence, reinforcing the Indian Air Force's focus on readiness, the modernization of infrastructure, and the welfare of its personnel.
