Air Marshal B Manikantan Assesses Readiness and Launches New Facilities at AFS Darbhanga

Air Marshal B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, paid a visit to the Air Force Station in Darbhanga to evaluate its operational readiness and the progress of infrastructure enhancement.

During his visit, the Air Marshal examined the operational preparedness of the station and evaluated the measures taken for infrastructure development and capability enhancement. He also took the opportunity to engage with the personnel stationed there.

Additionally, Air Marshal Manikantan inaugurated several newly established facilities at the station, which include a Medical Inspection Room, a mess along with transit accommodation, and an indoor sports complex.

Emphasizing the strategic importance of the station, he noted its crucial role in supporting flying operations within the sector and its contribution to civil aviation activities.

Moreover, the AOC-in-C praised the station for maintaining high standards of professionalism and for its personnel's dedication and commitment to their duties.
