Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti Assesses Progress at Tata-Airbus C295 Assembly Line in Vadodara
Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, serving as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff for the Indian Air Force, recently inspected the Airbus C295 transport aircraft's final assembly line at Tata Advanced Systems Limited in Vadodara.
During his visit, Air Marshal Bharti evaluated the progress on the production of the first C-295 aircraft, which is part of India's Make in India initiative. This aircraft is nearing completion and preparing for its inaugural flight.

The C-295 program is a collaborative effort between Tata Advanced Systems Limited and Airbus. It marks a significant achievement in the development of India's aerospace manufacturing capabilities.
This project is seen as a pivotal move towards bolstering the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative in the aerospace and defence industry, focusing on the establishment of advanced aircraft manufacturing infrastructure and building technological expertise within the nation.

The visit underscored the Indian Air Force's ongoing commitment to promoting indigenous defence production, advancing technological self-reliance, and expanding the country's aerospace ecosystem.
