Air Force Academy Cadets Explore Army Logistics at ASC Supply Company

The Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) headquarters recently organized a visit for 31 Air Cadets from the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Hyderabad, including officer cadets from allied foreign nations, to the ASC Supply Company.

This initiative was designed to foster inter-service cooperation and to give the cadets a comprehensive understanding of the vital role that logistics play in maintaining and enhancing the operational readiness of the armed forces.

Throughout their visit, the cadets received insights into the necessary collaboration among different service branches and the crucial role of Army logistics in supporting field formations in varied operational scenarios. The session underscored joint efforts, coordination, and integrated support systems as essential components of contemporary military operations.

The Air Force Academy (AFA), situated in Dundigal near Hyderabad, Telangana, stands as the leading training institution of the Indian Air Force (IAF) dedicated to developing future officers into proficient air warriors. Since its establishment in 1971, the academy has been instrumental in the training of Flight Cadets from India and allied foreign nations, preparing them for various divisions of the IAF such as Flying, Technical, and Ground Duty.
