Air Chief Marshal Visits Family of Fallen Sergeant Surendra Kumar in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan

On Wednesday, Air Chief Marshal A P Singh paid a visit to the family of the late Sergeant Surendra Kumar in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. Sergeant Kumar lost his life during Operation Sindoor while serving his country.

The Air Chief, alongside his wife Sarita Singh, visited Kumar’s home in the village of Mehradasi. There, they met with Kumar’s mother, Nanu Devi, as well as his wife, Seema, and his children, Vritika and Daksh.
The Indian Air Force acknowledged the visit through a social media post, where they honored Kumar’s dedication and sacrifice. Details surrounding the circumstances of his death have not been released.

In a statement, the IAF remarked on the proud tradition of military service from Jhunjhunu, noting that the district is home to 21,700 ex-servicemen and 3,552 active Air Warriors serving in the Indian Air Force.
