Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi Reviews NDA 149th Course Passing Out Parade at Khetarpal Ground
The National Defence Academy's 149th Course culminated with a memorable Passing Out Parade on the morning of November 30, 2025, at the renowned Khetarpal Parade Ground. The cadets demonstrated exceptional drill skills and military precision as they marched past the Quarterdeck, instilling pride and admiration among the attendees. The event was attended by proud parents, distinguished dignitaries, school children, civilians, and both current and former members of the Armed Forces, all gathered to witness one of the Academy's most esteemed traditions.
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, PVSM, AVSM, NM, oversaw the Passing Out Parade for the Autumn Term 2025. Maj Avinash Pandey, SM, led the parade astride his horse 'Reliant Robin' with ceremonial flair. Academy Cadet Captain Siddharth Singh from Oscar Squadron commanded the parade, displaying poise and confidence suited to this significant occasion.

A total of 1,250 cadets participated in the parade, including 329 cadets from the graduating course. As they marched past the Antim Pag to the tune of Auld Lang Syne, it symbolized the end of their training at the NDA. These graduates will now advance to their respective pre-commission training academies and services, carrying forward the Academy's principles of honour, courage, and commitment. Their commissioning journey marks a new chapter in the NDA's legacy of excellence, inclusivity, and dedication to nation-building.

During the ceremony, the Reviewing Officer presented the President's Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals to the course's top performers. ACA Deepak Kandpal received the Gold Medal, ACC Siddharth Singh was awarded the Silver Medal, and DCC Siddhi Jain earned the Bronze Medal for their exemplary performance in the overall order of merit.

The Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft conducted a ceremonial flypast, providing a spectacular conclusion to the parade. This echoed the spirit of valor and aspiration that is emblematic of the National Defence Academy and its cadets.
